Artist Talk: Richard Wentworth in Conversation with Jost Münster & Fleur Simon
Tuesday 24 June | 6–8pm | TM Lighting Gallery
Join us for a special evening celebrating SPLICED, a two-person exhibition at TM Lighting Gallery, presented by Hannah Payne Art. This intimate artist talk features acclaimed British sculptor and influential educator Richard Wentworth in conversation with exhibiting artists Jost Münster and Fleur Simon.
In this conversation, Wentworth will share thoughts and reflections with Münster and Simon — two artists whose practices echo and respond to themes of materiality, space, and transformation. The talk will explore the links between the three artists — a connection rooted in the Ruskin School of Art, University of Oxford — and the subtle, enduring influence of creative mentorship.
This is not just a discussion of process or practice, but a warm, thoughtful exchange of ideas across generations, shaped by shared experience, intellect, and generosity of spirit.
Richard Wentworth has played a leading role in New British Sculpture since the end of the 1970s. His work, encircling the notion of objects and their use as part of our day-to-day experiences, has altered the traditional definition of sculpture as well as photography.
